Product descriptions:
Most items sold by Silver & Starling are vintage or pre-owned, with some contemporary artisan pieces.
Vintage jewellery has often been worn and loved previously and may show gentle signs of age consistent with its history. Any noticeable flaws or condition issues will always be clearly described and photographed.
Please read descriptions carefully and review all images before purchasing. Measurements are approximate and provided as a guide.
We make every effort to ensure colours and details appear as accurate as possible, though screen settings may vary slightly.
Pricing:
All prices are listed in GBP (£).
Silver & Starling reserves the right to adjust prices at any time, though confirmed orders will always be honoured at the purchase price.
Payments:
Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers (such as Stripe or PayPal).
Silver & Starling does not have access to full card details.
Orders will only be dispatched once payment has cleared.
Shipping:
Free UK shipping is offered on all orders.
Orders are dispatched via Royal Mail tracked services and will usually be posted within 1–3 working days of purchase.
You will receive confirmation once your order has been shipped.
Silver & Starling is not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or circumstances beyond our control, though we will always assist in resolving any delivery issues.
International shipping:
International shipping may be available on selected items.
Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout or confirmed prior to dispatch.
Buyers outside the UK are responsible for:

- Customs fees
- Local handling charges
These are set by the destination country and are outside our control.
Return and Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase.
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery for any reason.
To request a return, please email within 7 days of receiving your item.
Items must be returned:
- In original condition
- Carefully packaged
- Using a tracked postal service
If you have simply changed your mind:
Return postage is the buyer’s responsibility.
If an item is faulty or not as described:
Please contact us as soon as possible.
A full refund will be issued and return postage reimbursed.
Refunds are issued once the item has been safely returned.
